Terms & Conditions

Rental Eligibility
 

Renters must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Drivers under 25 may be subject to an additional young driver fee.


Rental Duration
 

The rental period begins at the agreed date and time and ends when the vehicle is returned.

Late returns may result in additional charges.

Early returns are not eligible for refunds unless agreed in advance.


Vehicle Use
 

Vehicles must only be operated by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement.

The renter agrees not to use the vehicle for:

  • Off-road driving

  • Racing or competitions

  • llegal activities

  • Transporting passengers for hire

Smoking and transporting pets inside the vehicle are prohibited unless previously approved.


Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Refueling fees apply if the fuel level is lower upon return.

Insurance & Coverage
 

Basic third-party liability insurance is included.
Optional coverage (CDW, Theft Protection, Full Coverage) is available for an additional fee.
The renter is liable for damages or loss not covered by insurance, including but not limited to: 

  • Glass, tires, rims and
    undercarriage

  • Interior damage (burns, stains, spills) 

  • Lost keys or lockouts

A deductible applies based on coverage selected.


Deposit & Payments 

A refundable security deposit is required at pickup.
Payment is accepted cash or via major credit or debit cards.
Final charges will reflect the condition of the vehicle and any extras used.

Breakdown & Accidents

In the event of an accident, breakdown or theft, the renter must:

  • Contact TM Car Rental Curaçao immediately

  • Notify the police and obtain an official report

  • Call Forensys Curacao 9233 to make an insurance report

24/7 roadside assistance is available.

Fines & Violations

The renter is responsible for any traffic tickets, or parking fines during the rental period.
If unpaid fines are received after the return, administrative fees may be charged.

Cancellations & Modifications

Free cancellations are allowed up to 28 hours before the rental period. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
Reservation changes are subject to availability.

Vehicle Condition

Vehicles are inspected before and after rental.
Renters must return the car in the same condition it was received, excluding normal wear.
Additional cleaning fees apply for excessive dirt, smoking odors or spills.

Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Curaçao.
Any disputes will be resolved in the local jurisdiction.

Acceptance of Terms

By renting a vehicle from TM Car Rental Curaçao, the renter acknowledges and agrees to all the terms and conditions outlined above.
